2026年10月27日、Grand Hyatt Tokyoのフレンチ キッチン個室にて、優雅なティータイムを楽しみながら、Sevenoaks Schoolの教育、校風、そしてアドミッションについて直接お話を伺います。限定8名・無料ご招待の特別な機会です。当日は通訳もございます。
Sevenoaks Schoolは、IB（国際バカロレア）カリキュラムを提供する英国の学校として知られ、卒業生はアメリカのアイビーリーグや、英国のオックスフォード大学・ケンブリッジ大学をはじめとする大学へ進学しています。今回のイベントでは、学業面だけでなく、自由な雰囲気の中で生徒の力を伸ばしていく学校文化や教育の魅力についてもご紹介いただきます。

Vanessa Fitzgerald氏について
Vanessa Fitzgerald氏は、Sevenoaks Schoolで14年間にわたり、教員・パストラルケアの両面で経験を積み、2026年にDirector of Admissionsに就任しました。
Oxford Universityで歴史学を学んだ後、ニューヨークとロンドンで企業広報に携わり、2012年にSevenoaks Schoolへ歴史科教員として着任。その後、歴史科主任、Sixth Form部門責任者を務め、現在も歴史を教えながらアドミッションを統括しています。
また、ご自身のお子様もSevenoaks Schoolの卒業生であり、教員やアドミッション担当者としてだけでなく、保護者としての視点も大切にされています。アドミッション担当としての来日は今回が初めてとなります。
学校のウェブサイトや資料だけでは分からないSevenoaks Schoolの雰囲気や、生徒たちの学校生活について直接聞くことのできる貴重な機会です。

Teatime with Sevenoaks – An Exclusive Small-Group Event in Tokyo

BE Education Japan, part of SAPIX YOZEMI GROUP, is delighted to welcome Vanessa Fitzgerald, Director of Admissions at Sevenoaks School, to Tokyo for an intimate special event, Teatime with Sevenoaks.
Taking place on 27 October 2026 in a private room at The French Kitchen, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, this exclusive event gives families the opportunity to hear directly from Sevenoaks School in a relaxed teatime setting. Attendance is complimentary and limited to just eight guests, with interpretation available.
Sevenoaks School is known for its International Baccalaureate curriculum and sends graduates to universities including Ivy League institutions in the United States and Oxford and Cambridge in the UK. During the event, families will hear more about the school’s distinctive educational approach, its open and intellectually stimulating environment, and how it supports students in developing academically and personally.

With attendance limited to eight guests, the event is designed to offer a more personal conversation than a traditional school presentation. Due to the small-group format, families are kindly asked to limit attendance to one person per family.
About Vanessa Fitzgerald
Vanessa Fitzgerald has spent 14 years at Sevenoaks School, building extensive experience across both teaching and pastoral care before becoming Director of Admissions in 2026.
After studying History at Oxford University, Vanessa worked in corporate communications in New York and London before joining Sevenoaks School as a History teacher in 2012. She later became Head of History and Head of Sixth Form, and today continues to teach History alongside overseeing admissions.
Her own children are also graduates of Sevenoaks School, giving her an additional perspective as a parent as well as an educator and admissions professional. This will be her first visit to Japan in her admissions role, making the event a particularly valuable opportunity for families to speak with her directly.
