William Vanbergen, the founder and strategic leader of BE Education Group, shapes the organisation's mission to deliver world-class international education. His goal is to empower students to become global leaders, believing that with the right opportunities, every child can excel academically, culturally, and socially. William's journey began at Eton, where he graduated in 2000. He then pursued a degree in Management Science at Manchester University on a sports scholarship for rowing. His dedication and talent led him to win a gold medal for England at the junior level and later – remarkably – represent China at both the World Coastal Rowing and the World Masters Level. William is a family man, married to Emma, and has three children. Their daughter currently attends Wycombe Abbey in Hong Kong, while their eldest son began his studies at Ludgrove School in the UK in September 2024. William's entrepreneurial success has been widely recognized. In 2023, he was the only foreigner featured in the prestigious Hurun Report’s China U40 Top Entrepreneur list. He also serves as Ambassador for the Shanghai Entrepreneurs’ Organisation.

Emma Vanbergen is the Co-Founder of BE Education and the President of BE's study abroad division, as which she oversees BE's eight worldwide offices in China, Hong Kong, South-East Asia and the UK. She has over 20 years of experience in advising international families on overseas education. Given her experience, Emma also leads our most complex and difficult cases. Her knowledge and track record is unmatched in this area.

Peter brings over 30 years of experience in growing and transforming businesses, building brands and shareholder value. Having lived and worked on multiple continents, Peter bring a global and diverse perspective on business operations, strategy and culture as well as talent, customer and consumer needs. Before joining BE Education, Peter worked for Mattel as Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets.

John oversees the financial aspects of BE Education Group. With over 23 years’ experience in finance, John has worked in Hong Kong, China and the UK for all stages of investment. John was responsible for managing investment programs for VC, PE, SOE and Tycoon family office with focus on consumer, healthcare and technology. John is also the honorary region head of La Chaine Des Rotisseurs and founder of the Wycombe Abbey Hong Kong young adult entrepreneurship program. John also holds a double undergraduate degree from Chapman University.

A top Chinese expert on international education, Ellen has 15 years of experience in applying to British schools. She leads a team that has helped more than 3000 students successfully enroll in well-known British and American schools and universities, including Eton, Harrow, Oxford, Cambridge and many other leading destinations across the world.

Raff graduated from Eton College and then read Russian Studies at Durham University. He taught English in Moscow and Uzbekistan and served as an educational adviser for disadvantaged children based in London. In 2014, Raff joined BE Group to help BE Education develop its business model in the UK, serving numerous families with professional consultation and helping students realise their full potential. Raff has helped hundreds of families with their educational pathways across Britain.
