What Are Interviews For

Whilst academic credentials are important, they are not the be all and end of the application process. The interview is often as important, if not more important, than the entrance examinations. This is because UK boarding schools and universities are looking for students who will not only contribute to the academic life of their institution but the social and extra-curricular side as well. Often students who score brilliantly in entrance examinations will be rejected on the basis of a poor interview performance.

Boarding Schools

Unlike the majority of day schools, students both study and live at the school when boarding in the UK. These schools, therefore, want pupils who will not struggle with boarding, will make the most of the fantastic facilities on offer, and, most of all, actively want to board.
