From Rugby School to Bristol to Study Law
‘The Higher Education Team has produced clear and detailed plans to aid my university application right from the end of GCSEs. Throughout my university application process, I have been well encouraged and supported by a team of professional tutors. Having catch-up meetings with Graham lets me target my short-term goals so that I am well prepared during different application stages, i.e. mock interview and admissions test stage. This has been very beneficial to me.’ – Anne

Anne came to us just before starting her A levels, with a strong view on her next academic challenge. To help support her long-term goals and ambitions, our higher education team assigned Anne with a suitable personal adviser to guide her through the application process for Law at Russell Group/Top 20 universities. We supported Anne with regular meetings, advice on supra-curricular activities, wider reading options and access to our subject specialists who were there to help her prepare for her LNAT exam (a requirement for most of her chosen university choices) and personal statement. Anne benefitted from joining our termly workshops to prepare for her UCAS application e.g., Course Selection; How to write a strong personal statement; Mock Interviews and Choosing an Oxbridge college.
Anne was a very open, honest and articulate student who knew that she was supported and encouraged to be the best student she could be at every possible step of the application process. Her passionate commitment to study Law and her willingness to focus on and follow our plan, along with her excellent co-curricular achievements and strong academic grades and attainment made her an outstanding university candidate.
